We offer a variety of GC headspace vials, caps and septa to fulfil your application needs. Our patented vial and cap design incorporates pressure-relief features which guarantee safe operation with the high pressure typically developed during thermostatting. Ordinary vials and caps without these safety features may burst. All of our headspace vials have a greater wall thickness and round base which enables them to withstand pressure up to 60 psig. Low-volume sampling can be achieved by using a 6 mL vial and vial adapter. All PerkinElmer headspace vials are manufactured to specific tolerances that are guaranteed for fit and performance. Note: Due to the patent which PerkinElmer holds on the closures system of the Headspace vials, the caps, septa, and star springs cannot be sold separately. Aluminum Seal, 11mm, Silver, PTFE/Silicone with Slit. The 11mm anodized aluminum seals are manufactured to fit all 11mm crimp top vials and are available in a variety of colors. Pure Silicone laminated with .005 of PTFE. Recommended when multiple injections are required. Resist coring and excellent resealing qualities. Medium durometer silicone with .003 silicone laminated on both sides. Great for trace analysis work. Resist coring and good resealing characteristics. Use with auto samplers with blunt tip syringes.
